Elevate your Purim Seuda
Purim is about joy, connection, and celebration. The seudah is where it all comes together.
At Sam & Sous, it is one of our favourite days. We love being part of our clients’ meals and bringing people together through delicious food creations.
If you are hosting your family this Purim, here are some helpful tips:
1. Let the meal flow
Purim is one of those festivals where you can let the meal unfold. Guests often arrive in drips and drabs, so it is important to keep the momentum of the meal going. Starting with light starters, a relaxed main-course, and dessert later helps keep the energy festive and guests engaged.
2. Elevate the experience
Simple touches can make your meal feel that little bit extra. Use your favourite serving platters, dress the table with candles, flowers or add greenery from the garden.
3. Be present
The best seudah is one where the host is part of the celebration and not in the kitchen. Plan ahead or outsource so you can enjoy every moment.
